Apps and Tech
  • Performance Tracker Apps- Apps for your phone or PC can be used to keep a record of the distance you run and the time. These logs can be used to create graphs and tables of data to track your performance over time. Some apps also come with additional features such as weight and heart rate monitoring logs. There are plenty of free apps available, although the ones you have to pay for do tend to have more features and/or less advertising.
  • Route Trackers- Using the location from your phone, smart watch or other GPS device, route trackers keep a record of your runs. Depending on the app, this normally includes maps. These can be used in combination with, or be part of Performance Tracker Apps. This tracking capability allows you to simply remind yourself of previous jobs, or even help you to plan new ones, and even help you to enhance your performance.
  • Wearable monitors
